Engine Cover Oil Sight Glass and Magnetic Drain Plug Kit ATHENA P400280155001

Improve maintenance convenience and engine monitoring with the Athena Oil Sight Glass and Magnetic Drain Plug Kit for Lambretta, designed to replace aging oil plugs and related hardware installed on the engine side cover.

Ideal for restoration projects, routine maintenance, and engine rebuilds, this kit enhances oil level inspection while replacing components that are often worn or damaged after decades of service.

Quick and Convenient Oil Level Inspection

A key feature of the kit is the oil level sight glass, designed to replace the original closed oil level plug.

On vintage Lambretta engines, checking the oil level typically requires removing the plug, a procedure that can be inconvenient and often results in oil spilling from the opening when the level is correct or near maximum.

The Athena sight glass allows quick visual inspection of the oil level without removing any components, making routine checks faster, cleaner, and more convenient.

Magnetic Oil Drain Plug

The kit also includes a magnetic oil drain plug, designed to collect ferrous particles generated by normal engine wear.

During oil changes, the accumulated particles can provide useful information about internal engine condition while helping prevent metallic debris from circulating within the lubrication system.

Perfect for Vintage Engine Maintenance

Many original Lambretta oil plugs have suffered years of wear, corrosion, and repeated servicing.

Replacing these components can help restore:

• Proper functionality
• Easier maintenance operations
• Improved reliability
• Better long-term serviceability

Complete Kit with Copper Sealing Washers

For proper installation and sealing performance, the kit includes the required copper sealing washers, ensuring reliable sealing for both the oil level sight glass and the magnetic drain plug.

A Functional Upgrade for Classic Lambretta Engines

Whether you're restoring a classic scooter or performing routine maintenance, the Athena Oil Sight Glass and Magnetic Drain Plug Kit provides a practical upgrade that improves engine monitoring and simplifies servicing.
