2. Alignment of reliefs. This solution increases the elasticity of the gasket during operation, guaranteeing excellent grip over time, even in extreme conditions. On the contrary, a misalignment of the reeds would cause an immediate flattening of the gasket, eliminating the function of elastic memory and the consequent loss of compression.
