Raw Materials

JT sprockets are manufactured only from the finest materials available. We use aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum for lightweight racing sprockets, SCM420 chromoly alloy steel for front sprockets, and, as the only sprocket manufacturer, highly durable C49 high-carbon steel for rear sprockets.

Manufacturing

The JT Sprockets factory is the largest and most advanced sprocket manufacturing facility in the world. It is fully equipped with high-precision machinery, including the latest generation of CNC technology for design and computer-controlled metal machining.

JT sprockets are manufactured the right way—using hobbing, machining, and drilling processes. This is the only proven method of achieving the tightest tolerances and the most accurate tooth profiles.

Quality Control

Each sprocket undergoes up to 25 production stages and 10 individual quality inspections before leaving the factory. The manufacturing process meets the highest European quality standards.

Availability

JT designs and manufactures more than 18 million sprockets annually for all motorcycle and ATV makes and models. The current product range includes more than 2,500 steel and aluminum sprockets, with many items incorporating two or more different mounting patterns into a single sprocket.
