GP7 Series
The GP7 compound is the optimal choice for use in high-speed circuit racing.
It has been developed on the basis of sintered metal-ceramic friction materials using advanced powder metallurgy technology. The most significant characteristic of this technology is its high and consistent coefficient of friction.
The GP7 compound provides low abrasive interaction with the brake disc and much smoother braking thanks to its metal-ceramic friction material composition. The GP7 series includes a stainless-steel thermal insulator and offers excellent wear resistance. The difference in braking performance between dry and wet conditions is negligible.
About GOLDfren Friction Materials
- AD, S3, S33, and GP compounds are certified by the German testing institute TÜV Rheinland.
- All our brake pads are manufactured from sintered metal-ceramic friction materials.
- Sintering is a modern technology that provides maximum braking performance while ensuring minimal wear.
- Compared with other types of brake linings, such as organic, organic carbon, and semi-metallic organic compounds, sintered linings offer the highest braking performance and longer service life.
- Sintered linings maintain reliable braking performance at high temperatures and in wet conditions.
- Sintered linings deliver exceptional braking effectiveness under the most demanding conditions.
- GOLDfren is a pioneer in sintering technology, utilizing advanced and progressive powder metallurgy processes.
- Designed for both wet and dry environments.
- None of the materials contain lead or asbestos.
- The following compounds are available: AD, S3, K5, K5-LX, S33, GP5, GP6, and GP7.
- The recommended application for each compound is based on our material specification chart (see below) or on the rider’s preferences and intended riding style.
